On Saturday, September 15, 2001, 44-year-old Kerry Lynn of Lakeland, was working at the construction site of the Lakeland Animal Clinic located at 3421 Lakeland Hills Blvd. He was found deceased at this location on Sunday, September 16, 2001. Lynn's wallet and cell phone were missing.
