The Polk County Sheriff's Office is investigating a theft of a wallet.
The crime occurred at the Circle K (10704 Hwy 98 North) in Lakeland on Sunday, August 16th at around 10:15 pm.
A unidentified man walked from the gas pumps toward the store. He then picked up a wallet, not belonging to him, in the parking lot, entered the store, made purchases, and left without returning the wallet or contacting the Sheriff’s Office.
The man is described as a white male, wearing a cream colored or light tan t-shirt and dark colored shorts. No vehicle description is available.

Just before 1 am on Thursday, April 2nd, a PCSO deputy on State Road 60 in Winter Haven witnessed a gray Kia SUV traveling in his direction at a high rate of speed.
The speed of the car was measured to be 106 mph in a 55 mph zone.
